Message From Principal
A very warm welcome to NSK International School, Thumpamon. This is a school with NSK Foundation and offers Early Years to Grade 10 with CBSE Curriculum. I am very proud and honoured to be the Principal and Head of School of NSK International School, the school with a difference and the school of choice.
What makes us unique? Yes, the individual care that we extend to our children as we keep a ratio of 1:25 in our classrooms. This exceptionality will cater to the needs of the children for becoming an incomparable individual. We will set the highest expectations from the outset to ensure that we provide creative learning experiences which inspire and challenge our children to achieve the very best in all aspects of their learning.
Today's world the spiritual enlightenment is mandatory for phasing out the challenges or life situations. The awakening of children's mind, brain, thoughts and actions can be achieved only by directing them with core human values. The skill-oriented club activities, along with five co-curricular activities per child will along with structured and well planned CBSE curriculum, adhering to NEP 2020 will definitely drive them towards the uniqueness.
Our curriculum will be based upon the National Curriculum – CBSE and we adopt a personalised approach in order to provide tailor- made learning paths for all children. We develop Annual Pedagogical Plan with utmost attention and dignity to achieve our target.
The effectiveness of the guiding principles of NSK IS lies with the team of dedicated educators who commit to make the school a happy place for enhancing the learning abilities of the children. Keeping the ethos and values high our mentors extend a whole hearted support in nurturing the individual needs of the children.
A large part of a child's active life is spent in the school. However, every child gets his/her emotional stability from the parents. It is the parent's attitude that a child absorbs and the interest and time that parents invest in children, is crucial for their development.
Please spend half an hour with your child and have a talk about his/her day at school. Encourage him/her to do his/her work regularly from day one. Know your children; not just the academics they need to complete but also the friends they make and the problems they face in school, on the school bus or at play. Try to create a sense of purpose in the children and be their friend.
Parents are requested to attend PTMs regularly to make the growth of the child in a proper direction. A healthy and purposeful relation between school and child's family gives a required result of child development.
