CBSE Syllabus
Assessments are tools that enhance the learning of students in:
- Content and subject specific skills
- 21st century skills
- Personal social emotional learning
The content and skill assessments will be a continuous process achieved through a high frequency of AFL techniques in the classroom using a wide range of digital platforms.
The end of term and end of year assessments will be the high-stake tests, conducted as per a pre- defined syllabus.
Early Years [Foundational Stage]
Continuous observational assessments, based on anecdotal records, photographs, rubrics and student work samples help staff to identify any children that need more support to achieve the objective and those that need challenge.
The curriculum will assess a child's growth and development under the following six areas of learning. Each area of learning assessed based on the criteria given below.

Physical Development

- Making relationships
Primary
Assessments in the Primary school are continuous and comprehensive. Students graded on classwork, homework, subject enrichment activities, collaborative work, project work, students' effort and teachers' observations. They help measure students' progress during the academic term. There are no formal examinations in Grades 1 and 2, however the 21st century skills, personal, social and emotional development and subject specific skills assessed based on a set rubrics
All the other grades, from grade 3 to grade 10, follow the assessment structure as listed here.
The academic session divided into two terms. The table below gives an overview of the mark weightages for internal assessments from Grades 3 to 9 for each of these terms:

ASSESSING THE SKILLS
The National Education Policy, 2020 has envisioned that schools move towards competency-based education including a focus on 21st Century Skills. Keeping this in mind, from June 2023 the school focuses towards developing
- 21st century skills
- Personal social emotional development
- Subject specific skills.
